Industrial inspection camera housing
Sattech Engineering designed a custom housing for an industrial inspection camera developed for Alplab, a client from Sweden. The camera is intended for use in industrial facilities, where durability, protection and reliable operation are essential.
The main housing was designed in aluminum, providing strength and protection for internal electronic and optical components. The SD card cover was designed in POM plastic, with additional sealing to support the required IP67 protection level. The control buttons were designed as membrane buttons, helping maximize protection against dust and moisture.
The design also allows the camera lens to be replaced, making the device more flexible for different inspection use cases. An additional independent LED lighting module can be attached to the housing and powered through pogo pins, providing integrated illumination when needed.
The final solution combines robust industrial protection, practical maintenance access and modular functionality for demanding inspection environments.
