Back Axle Robotic Cell

Automated robotic cell for rotating, positioning and handling Nissan Altima back axles with synchronized robotic arm movement.

Sattech Engineering designed a complete robotic cell for rotating and positioning the back axle of the Nissan Altima. The project included the industrial robot cell fence, robot base planning according to customer specifications, pneumatic gripper design, gripper attachments, plastic support pads, sensor and camera positioning, and pallet entry/exit detection.

The solution also included synchronized movement planning for two robotic arms, enabling the system to process different back axle types. Complete 2D schematics, bill of materials and exploded views were prepared to support final installation and assembly of the robotic cell.
